Hey! It’s February! No time like the present to blog about…things that happened in September. *facepalm*
I’m not even going to apologize. Let’s just cut to the chase. The next I don’t even know how many posts are going to be “catch up” posts from the end of 2016. So yes, you will be seeing posts about Thanksgiving and Christmas. In February. Because I am awesome.
These are the family photos we had taken in September for our yearly Christmas cards. All photos were taken by a local mom by the name of Rachel Freed who is super talented and wonderful and did just an amazing job. (I still owe her a return photo shoot that won’t be nearly as high quality because that’s how I roll).
As you can see, I put exactly five minutes thought into what we would wear, choosing only from clothes we already owned. Honestly, the choices turned out better than I expected.
The rose garden at the Woodland Park Zoo was the perfect backdrop, with many flowers still in bloom.
Trying to get three children to all look in the right direction and smile at the same time, while NOT looking like a crazed lunatic yourself, is no small feat.
Seriously, Rachel did an AMAZING job.
Alden’s pose! It just kills me! All laid back on his elbows with one foot up.
They insisted on a sister-pose together.
There’s always time to stop and smell the roses.
WHY HAVE WE NOT MARKETED THIS CHILD TO MOVIES AND MODELING AGENCIES?!?!
These two goofs.
