Zoo-da-lally! Penguin Feeding!

It was gorgeously sunny here in Seattle this past weekend. Even though the kids’ faces were running like faucets from another cold, and even though it was still pretty chilly outside, I couldn’t resist the lure of the sunshine. So we grabbed the stroller and headed to (where else?) the zoo! We decided it would be a great day to cash in one part of our prize pack and feed the penguins.

After spending some time in the cozy, beautiful and relaxing Tropical Bird House (seriously – this is my happy place) we headed off for our penguin feeding experience.

But first a quick rest in the penguin cove.

That is one happy kiddo.

Eleanor got to feed the penguins too – and giggled while she did it – but alas there are no pictures of it as I was holding both her and the camera. Sorry kiddo. Second-child problems.

  1. Wowza these photos are amazing! That class really paid off. The foreground/background and focus is lovely, and I especially love the one of Zoey in the window/penguin cove. yay!
