Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip: Jubilee Farm

On Saturday Zach managed to convince me to get out of my pajamas long enough for a trip to a local pumpkin patch with the kids. I’d had a raging cold so this was no small feat. I managed to rally for the couple hours the trip took, and then crashed for a serious nap when we got home. It really was a nice farm though, and they did a great job making it super family friendly. We went to Jubilee Farm (which is apparently “biodynamic.” I have no idea what that means.) They had tractor- and horse-drawn hay wagons to take you to and from the pumpkin fields, a cider press, a hay maze for the under 4 feet tall set, pony rides, hot food and drinks to warm you up, and plenty of other produce for sale. We let the kids have a romp (or twelve) through the hay maze before heading out to pick our pumpkins.
