Mt. Rainier Day Hike

Last week we took a trip to Mt. Rainier for some hiking. I use the term “hiking” in the loosest sense of the word. It really was more of a stroll down a paved pathway with many, many stops for toddler shoe-gazing, rock collecting, illegal flower picking and “resting.” My words hardly do justice to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, especially on a sunny summer day with wildflowers in bloom and deer popping up for surprise visits. So here’s a photo montage to give you a snapshot of our lovely day.
